How do I even begin this? I could start listing the obvious like music, photography, and painting. My all time fav thing is people watching- and before I get called creepy I'll have you know it's the biggest hobby in France (per my hs french instructor, but maybe she was creepy too lol). I don't know what it is about it but I love love love getting a cup of coffee and just observing the different people who walk by. I think about how they got to where they are, what they're doing today, what I think there name is, etc. It's amazing to think of how many people are around us and how little we know of each other.

It wouldn't be a blog about my favorite things if i didn't mention the ocean. Is it possible to fear something as much as you love it? yeah? Wonderful news- cause I am so scared of the big blue. It has a lot to due with the fact that we don't know much about it at all. There are so many things to discover and adventures to be had and unknowns to be known. Now let me explain a little, I am afraid of the wide, open, no land in sight, who knows what's below me cause I freaking don't ocean. How did this fear come about? Who knows, maybe a past trauma my brain has scribbled out of my memory. Now my love for the ocean feels endless. I get an overwhelming sense of peace when I'm there, as if we're connected. I feel at whole with myself and all my worries become as light as the sea breeze around me.
As I was writing this post I was trying to think of the big BAM to end with, my favorite all time thing, but I can't; I would be lying if I came up with just one last thing, so I'll leave it with this-I am incredibly thankful for my family, they hold me together when I'm falling apart. I am so happy that I have the little select group of friends that I do. They are the sun to moon personality and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. My family and friends are my two favorite things in the whole wide ocean/sky/galaxy combined.
